Golden Turmeric Granola Clusters - Blissful Basil

These golden turmeric granola clusters are a delightful blend of oats, nuts, coconut, and warming spices like turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger. They're sweetened naturally with maple syrup and provide a deliciously crunchy snack or topping for yogurt or smoothie bowls.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup raw nuts almonds, cashews, or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit optional

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 325F 160C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Put shredded coconut, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground black pepper, and salt in a large bowl

Fill the bowl with rolled oats

Well mix until coated all over

Spread the mixture out evenly on the baking sheet that has been prepared

Use the back of a spoon to press down hard to make clusters

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown

To make sure the baking is even, stir it around halfway through

Let it cool all the way down on the baking sheet after taking it out of the oven

While it cools, the granola will get hard and form clusters

After the granola has cooled, break it up into clusters and, if you want, mix in some dried fruit

Keep at room temperature in a container that keeps air out for up to two weeks
