Garlic Shrimp & Asparagus Zoodle Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough
- 1/2 cup garlic butter sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup asparagus spears, trimmed and blanched
- 2 zucchinis, spiralized into noodles
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes optional
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking
On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want
Put the dough that has been rolled out on a pizza stone or a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper
Spread the garlic butter sauce out on the pizza dough so that it covers it evenly
Leave a small edge for the crust
Put half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce
Spread the spiralized zucchini noodles out evenly on top of the cheese
Put the shrimp and blanched asparagus spears on top of the zucchini noodles
On top of the pizza, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and the rest of the mozzarella cheese
You can add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste
It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned
Take the pizza out of the oven and give it some time to cool down
Add some fresh basil leaves as a garnish
Cut it up, serve it, and enjoy!
