Cinnamon Chocolate Brownies
These Cinnamon Chocolate Brownies are rich, fudgy, and have a hint of warm cinnamon flavor. They are a great treat for any event.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan
In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat
Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined
Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and ground cinnamon until just combined
Fold in chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter
Allow brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares
